Student Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behavior expected from every student at R.K. Senior Secondary School, Aliganj, Lucknow. As a CBSE-affiliated institution, we believe that discipline, respect, and responsibility form the foundation of a meaningful education. Adherence to these guidelines ensures a safe, orderly, and enriching environment for all members of the school community.

Behavior and Etiquette

Everyday conduct that reflects courtesy, discipline, and respect for the school community.

  • Students must maintain punctuality, regular attendance, wear the proper school uniform, and display respectful behavior both inside and outside school.
  • Stand up and greet teachers when they enter or leave the classroom.
  • In the absence of a teacher, follow the prefect or monitor appointed to maintain order.
  • Students must greet visitors and teachers respectfully whenever they encounter them.
  • Every student must participate in physical training and games unless deemed unfit on medical grounds or exempted by the Principal.

Punctuality and Gate Rules

Arrival times and the procedures that follow when a student is late.

  • The school gate closes 10 minutes after the set school time. No entry will be permitted after the gate closes.
  • Students who arrive late should contact the respective teachers or coordinators.
  • Three late arrivals will lead to the student being sent back home.

Honesty and Lost Items

The value placed on honesty and the procedure for handling lost or found belongings.

  • Honesty is expected from everyone. If you find an item that does not belong to you, inform the Principal, Vice Principal, or Coordinator and leave it in the office.
  • Lost items can be enquired about at the school office.

Gate Passes

The requirement for authorized permission before a student may leave the premises.

  • Students are not permitted to leave the school premises without a gate pass signed by the Vice Principal, Principal, or the Coordinator of the respective section.

School Property

Expectations around caring for school facilities and the consequences of causing damage.

  • Damage to school property will not be tolerated. Strict disciplinary action will be taken, and parents will be held accountable for the cost of the damaged property.

Conduct Outside School

How a student's behavior beyond the campus remains tied to the school's standards.

  • Students are accountable to the school for their conduct both inside and outside school.
  • Misbehavior in public places, improper attendance, disobedience, objectionable moral conduct, and disrespect towards teachers are valid grounds for dismissal.
  • Conduct to and from school reflects on the school itself.

Digital and Social Media

Responsible use of digital platforms and the boundaries set around online activity.

  • Students are strictly prohibited from creating WhatsApp groups or engaging in similar activities, as these often lead to undesirable behavior.
  • Strict action will be taken against social media activities that disrupt the school or harm the sentiments of any teacher, student, or staff member.

Academic and Disciplinary Action

The school's authority to act when a student's progress or conduct falls below expected standards.

  • The Management reserves the right to dismiss students who consistently fail to make satisfactory progress in their studies or whose conduct disrupts the orderly functioning of the school.
