Cricket at RKSSS

Our cricket net gives students a dedicated space to practice batting, bowling, and fielding. Coaches work with players at every level — from beginners learning to hold a bat properly, to advanced students refining their technique. Sessions focus on the fundamentals: stance, footwork, timing, line and length for bowlers, and catching and throwing technique for fielders.

Practice matches are held regularly, and students compete in inter-house cricket tournaments through the year. These matches give players real game experience — reading the field, making quick decisions under pressure, and learning to win and lose with grace. Cricket is one of the sport options available to students under the mandatory sports activity rule.

What Students Need

Students choosing cricket as their sport activity should bring their own cricket kit (bat, pads, gloves, and guard). The school provides practice balls and stumps.
