Secondary School

Secondary School Academics (Classes 9-10)

Classes 9 and 10 are built around the CBSE Class 10 board examination. The curriculum deepens subject knowledge and trains students in the exam format — how to write structured answers, manage time, and apply concepts rather than just recalling facts.

Classrooms use smart class technology for visual and interactive lessons. Teachers focus on problem-solving, analytical thinking, and exam technique alongside the syllabus. Internal assessments include periodic tests, assignments, and projects throughout the year, alongside the CBSE Class 10 board exam at the end.

Mathematics: Standard vs Basic

CBSE offers two levels of Mathematics for Class 10 — Standard and Basic. Standard Mathematics covers the full syllabus and is required for students who plan to take Mathematics in Class 11 (Science or Commerce streams). Basic Mathematics covers a reduced syllabus and is suitable for students who do not intend to study Mathematics after Class 10. Students choose their level at the time of board exam registration, with guidance from teachers based on performance and future plans.
