Senior Secondary School
Senior Secondary Academics (Classes 11-12)
Classes 11 and 12 are where students specialise. They choose one of three streams — Science, Commerce, or Humanities — based on what they want to study next. Each stream follows the CBSE syllabus and prepares students for the Class 12 board exams and competitive entrance tests like JEE, NEET, and CUET.
Classrooms use smart class technology for visual and interactive lessons, especially for complex topics in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Teachers focus on conceptual clarity, problem-solving, and exam preparation. Internal assessments include periodic tests, practical exams, and projects throughout the year, alongside the CBSE Class 12 board exam at the end.
English Core is compulsory for all streams. Students choose electives based on their stream and availability.
Stream Selection and Eligibility
Stream allocation is based on Class 10 board exam performance. The following guidelines apply:
- Science Stream: At least 80% marks in Science and Mathematics in Class 10, and a minimum 60% aggregate.
- Commerce Stream: At least 75% marks in Class 10, and a minimum 50% aggregate.
- Humanities Stream: At least 60% marks in Class 10, and a minimum 45% aggregate.
These thresholds match the admission requirements published on our Admission Overview page. Final allocation depends on seat availability and is at the discretion of the school's admission committee.
